Rev. Willie Riley, pastor of Searching Together Missionary Baptist Church, became overwhelmed with tears several times during a ceremony to celebrate his 26 years as pastor. “We began the church in my garage as a way to make a difference in the lives of some neighborhood kids,” Riley explained.
Today the church has over 300 members and serves the African-American community through several ministries.

RILEY TOLD ME FROM HIMSELF THAT IF HE HADN'T LET ME READ THE INSPIRATIONAL POEM THAT THE OCCASION WOULD NOT HAD WORKED OUT AT ALL, HE THANKED ME AND SHOOK MY HAND, A TOO LITTLE HARD.
