Former Milwaukee alderman Michael McGee was sentenced to a year in jail today on two corruption charges, to be served after he completes a federal prison sentence.
Circuit Judge Richard Sankovitz imposed six month terms on each of a felony and misdemeanor to which McGee earlier pleaded not guilty. Each term is consecutive to the other. Sankovitz also granted McGee credit for 35 days he's served in jail that has not been credited to his federal sentence.
