A green sedan driven by Thurman Golden, was found by members of a construction company submerged in Root River inside of Lincoln Park near Spring Street. The body of Golden was found yesterday (March 4, 2009) by a fisherman, in the Root River, near the intersection of Rupert Boulevard and Kinzie Avenue.
Police said that the car was the one that Golden was driving when he left the American Legion early Friday morning to drop some patrons home.
