Veteran Racine County Board Supervisor stricken last week with a stroke.

According to a family member, 2^nd District Supervisor Gaynell Dyess, 1618 Linden Avenue, was hospitalized at Wheaton Franciscan/All Saints, after she suffered a server stroke last Wednesday in Racine.

Little information is available to the public, but some people who have visited her said that she is unable to speak.
