RACINE - A local girl is the first from Racine and the youngest ever to win the annual Diva Quest Scholarship Competition.
Kitchiana Howard, 14, won the local singing contest this year on Saturday and will receive a $1,000 college scholarship upon her completion of high school.
"It was a shock," Kitchiana said of winning. "I really didn't know what to feel, if I should cry or jump up and down."
