RACINE - A week after a meeting at City Hall where Mayor John Dickert "gaveled down" Aldermen Michael Shields, the two are at odds again.
In a letter sent Tuesday to The Journal Times, Shields wrote as the president of the local NAACP chapter that the local branch sought to address injustices in the city back in November, but that Mayor Dickert has been unresponsive. Dickert said Tuesday he has been responsive to the needs of the minority community and that "I'm more concerned about solving the city's problems, not complaining about them."

the Mayor is a joke. I think he forgot he's part of the problem. Maybe he has his on resolution for his "questionable" decision making.
