Allen attributes his win to his preparation with a secret rub, as well as a special Bar-B-Que sauces that he has created. “It was a combination of texture, and taste that caught the attention of the us (the judges). Mayor John Dickert, Racine Police Chief Kurt Wahlen, and Racine County Supervisor Kenneth Lumpkin were the contest judges.
