Rapper and a few of his frends wants to get youth out of harms way

Shane Erving is a young man who knows what it is like to grow up in the inner city with nothing to do except hang out on the streets.

During his young years, he dreamed of one day owning a studio and being able to do what he loved, rap and make music. He never let go of the vision and today he owns ABC Production (All About Cheddar), a full recording studio.

As a music lover, Erving is creative and versatile. He enjoys all types of music: hip-hop, rap, rock, jazz, and the list continues. He shared that part of his motivation for building the studio was that he was tired of listening to the same music and wanted to inspire more creativity in himself and in other music lovers.

Erving is also giving back to the community and supporting our young people through his venture. For kids who are not doing well in school He said, “For kids who want to rap, I will let them record their music in the studio free, but they have to get their grades up.” He will work in cooperation with teachers and parents to get progress reports and report cards to be sure the student are performing better in school. He desires to give these kids motivation to so something besides hang out on the streets and neglect their education.

ABC Productions has been running for 8 months is a non-profit organization that runs on donations. In addition to the studio, Erving has a CD of his music that was just released on Nov. 1 that he is giving away. It is a combination of R&B, rap, hip-hop, and other genres of music.
