Obama Versus McCain in Racine

Gloria Rogers, upper photo, a supporter of Barack Obama, angered over a debate comment where McCain referred to the Democratic nominee as, “that one.”  Shunned off by the Obama Campaign, many minorities throughout the country have labeled the reference as racist.

Christopher Norton, left, a member of Gospel Mission Church in Racine, holds a yard sign to show his support of the McCain-Palin ticket. He is among less than 5% of  African Americans nationwide who support McCain.  Norton says his concerns are that the judicial court will become too liberal and the abortion issue has driven him away from supporting Obama.   Rogers and Norton protested near each other at Charlie Gibson’s ABC-TV World News broadcast from Racine, Wednesday, October 10, 2008.
