The 47 year old male victim of a stabbing that had occurred on Saturday morning has died. Kirby F McClain, 47, was found in the living room area of 1314 Thurston Av by police on last Saturday at about 4:50AM suffering from a single stab wound to the abdomen. He was transported to Wheaton Franciscan St Mary's for treatment that day and died April 21, 2009, at 11 :07 AM.
Officers and investigators initially arrested the girlfriend Norma J Brayboy, 36, on a charge of Attempted 1 st Degree Intentional Homicide but she was charged in court on Monday with 1st Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety and held on $3,000 bond. Investigators arrested Brayboy after she admitted that she had stabbed McClain in the abdomen.
On today (April 21, 2009) investigators have re-arrested Brayboy on charges of 1 st Degree Intentional Homicide and she is still being held in the Racine County Jail with no bond.
